As a Managing Director of KGC Media, I am a dedicated and accomplished professional with a diverse background in international relations, development, and social entrepreneurship. Born and raised in the United Kingdom, I relocated to Pakistan for higher education, where learned a degree in International Relations and International Development.
I have an extensive history of working with non- governmental organizations (NGOs), focusing on women's rights and child protection. In 2015, I relocated to Australia, where i continued volunteer work, supporting children and women in need. I also expanded my expertise through various certifications in international development and disability.
After successfully setting up and launching several successful businesses in 2018, my husband and I ventured into the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) sector, recognizing a significant shortage of suitable disability housing. We collaborated with a reputable construction company to thoroughly understand and implement the guidelines for Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) housing. Starting with a single SDA house, they have successfully developed and provided 80 SDA houses, establishing the Khattak Group of Companies.
Throughout my journey I demonstrated a steadfast commitment to creating positive change and improving lives. My accomplishments and entrepreneurial spirit are a testament to my dedication to making a meaningful impact in the world.
I am a devoted mother to two lovely children, Rafay and Noorem, and find great joy in nurturing my family. Beyond my professional pursuits, I have a vibrant passion for culinary arts and interior design, often exploring new recipes and decorating ideas.
I am also an avid traveller, with a deep appreciation for exploring new destinations and creating lasting memories with my oved ones. My zest for life and enthusiasm for experiencing new cultures and traditions is contagious, and I cherish the time spent with family and friends, making every moment count.
